System Design
Individuals, Teams, Organizations, Academic Institutions and Engineering Students:
- Citizens of India or of Indian Origin
- In case the company is a joint venture or the India operation of a multinational, then the entry should be for the component / product / part developed in India or modified to suit Indian conditions. Entry should clearly identify the part or component developed in India.
- 100% foreign owned companies will not be eligible for sending nominations for the Bry-Air Awards. However, if the component / product/ system is designed by an Indian employee or team in the India office for the Indian Market, then the individual or team will be eligible to participate with due authorization from the employer.
- Note: Entry should clearly identify the part or component developed in India and the name of the individual or team responsible for the development.
- Non-HVAC&R Organizations e.g. Architecture Firms, Builders / Developers will not be eligible to participate in the Bry-Air Awards. However, if a department / division / team / individuals in the organization specializes in HVAC&R related work, then the individual or team working on the HVAC&R project will be eligible to participate with due authorization from the employer.
- If the project is located abroad (out of India) but designed / executed by an Indian consultant (based in India), then the consultant will be eligible to participate.
- Should not be a member of Bry-Air (Asia) Pvt. Ltd. or Pahwa Enterprises.
- A Jury Member or his organization cannot participate for the Awards in that year.
- The system should have been introduced / commissioned in the last 5 years. The system should preferably be working for more than a year.
IMPORTANT: Selection Parameters
- Is a forerunner of a new trend.
- Has created an opportunity to expand the market.
- Can be bench-marked with current international system(s) design on the basis of sustainability.
- Has a significant impact on energy saving/efficiency.
- Is suitable in application to the Indian sub-continent.

- All information received will be considered in confidence and be accessible only to the Awards Secretariat and members of the Award Selection Committee.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- All entries must be accompanied by the prescribed Entry Form, complete in all respects.
- All correspondence must be in English.
- It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that the innovation is protected by copyright or patent before submitting the same.
- All entries must be accompanied by a declaration:
- From the applicants that they have full title to the work submitted, or
- From the owner (if the applicant is not the owner) authorizing the applicant to submit the same.
- All awardees will be intimated individually.
- Any kind of soliciting by a participant will lead to rejection of his entry.
- Entrants should insure their entries/samples against loss or damage in handling or transit.
- Bry-Air Asia will not be responsible for any loss/damage of the samples at any stage. After the completion of the Awards Function, the entrants should make arrangement to collect the samples.
- The Jury reserves the right to obtain any additional information about the nomination submitted, as deemed fit.
- Entries, incomplete in any respect, are liable to be rejected. The last date for receiving entries is November 15, 2012
- The awards will be presented on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Mumbai. The Award winners will be invited to attend the function and receive the Awards personally. The Award Winners should make their own arrangements for travel and stay at Mumbai.

- Is unique in design, innovative use of new / existing materials, safety in manufacturing & use, functional ease, replacement of conventional materials, energy conservation and environment friendliness.

Student Category
- Engineering Students (B.E., B.TECH., M.E., M.TECH., DUAL DEGREES, PHD., ALL CATEGORIES OF ENGINEERING STUDENTS).
- Students of Architectural and design institutes are also eligible to participate, if the design is relevant to HVAC&R.
- A jury member or his organization / institute cannot participate for the award in the year.

- Entries must be accompanied by photocopy of the student’s Identity card.
- All awardees will be intimated individually about the out come.
