Air-Conditioning System for Large Scale Laboratory

Technical description of the System Design supported by System diagram and photographs of the project site (commissioned):

• Air conditioning System for a Large Scale lab with walk in and table top fume hoods. Fume hoods are of variable air volume type with Venturi controls.
• Air handling unit with 100% outside air and with run around heat recovery system.
• A combination of water cooled and air cooled chillers pumping water to be a common header
• State of the Art Building Automation System for stringent control of inside conditions.

Extraordinary features of the systems :

• Combination of water cooled and air – cooled screw chillers working in tandem.
• Usage of variable air volume venturi controls for fume hoods for the laboratories with 100% outside air.
• Air handling units with supply and exhaust fans, (with standby motors) 100% outside air with run around coils for heat recovery
• State of the Art Building Automation System for monitoring of the system performance.
