Design of System for Recovery of Refrigeration Effect During LNG Regassification Process
Technical description:
The suggested recovery system is Cascade in nature. Here Propane is selected as intermediate fluid because it has low Triple point temperature (85K) and high Critical temperature (370K)

System designed here is for 1000TR of Recovery system.

Recovery of 22000 TR of refrigeration effect for Dahej Petronet LNG Plant, which is being wasted in seawater or hot water or air. The amount of energy can be saved for total regassification comes out to be 10 crores KWh electrical.
